Stanley Kubrick Full Metal Jacket

The fact that he wanted to make a blockbuster about a story that's Scottish to the core and went to shoot it in Ireland because it was cheaper seems ridiculous to me. While it may be heavily romanticized, this is history, not his own creation.

Rob Roy, featuring Liam Neeson and Tim Roth, much better than Braveheart. And at least it was actually shot in Scotland.

Enough with this hidden advertising: the careful yet ruthless analysis has been done by Enea on Debaser (http://www.debaser.it/recensionidb/ID_16166/Franco_Battiato_Il_Vuoto.htm), not on your blog. You're the one who copied and pasted because you have nothing better to say or do. Come on, enough...

but come on target, duty! :) of course this is a really nice little disc, I haven't listened to it in ages. helium sunset above all, but also as sudden tears fall and sing song sally. and the male voice in nobody's fault sounds impressively like that of rudy trouvé, even though it’s not. I remember not liking the next one as much as this one, but it's worth trying again.

Welcome to the Belgium Enthusiasts Club. Discovered his voice on "Broken" by DAAU, absolutely spine-chilling.

Nice record. Now I understand where my beloved Sweek drew a looooot of inspiration from. Similar in approach to Godspeed You! Black Emperor, yes, but maybe more eclectic? More musically "bastard"?

I hadn't seen this one. They're cute, nothing special. Pleasant to listen to.
