I listened to The Naive Shaman and mmm... it didn't win me over. Maybe I'll try again.

4 CDs: "Na Vucca Do Lupu," "The Chief Assassin to the Sinister," "Another Sea Another Desert," and the double album "Songs from an Old Town We Once Knew," which collects singles, rarities, and unreleased tracks. And then various singles and EPs...

Titan, Mammatus, La Otracina, Giant Brain, Arbouretum, Assemble Head In Sunburst Sound... how lovely, there are only two bands from the list that I’m missing! The Wooden Shjips are nice, although the faux-Morrisonian tone of the singer leaves me a bit puzzled.

Amazing band and amazing record (even if Nà Vuccà Dò Lupù has gems like Illwrath and One Step Ladder). The dark side of the '90s, light-years away from the Californian sun even though they're from San Diego. Much better than the gloomy Black Heart Procession and the catchiness of Pinback, bands that came after the split. They say they are returning in 2008, and I hope so. And I can't wait.

Fortunately, I don't have bangs. And it's a nice record.

I was full of hopes but I found them boring. What a shame.

But am I the only one who thinks the voice sounds like it's being played at double speed? For a moment, I almost liked a song, then luckily that feeling passed.

Maybe it's because I don't usually go for that kind of thing, but uhmmm... Perhaps I'll give it another try.
