dEUS Vantage Point

Um... it's turned into a shitshow, I'll try again: It's not hard to put together the sentences: it sucks. If it hadn't carried the name dEUS, I wouldn't have even listened to it until the end. Flat, weak, insignificant. These aren't the dEUS, but a pale imitation of their clones (so much so that in Eternal Woman there's the girl from Mintzkov Luna, dEUS emulators). A minute of silence in memory of the times that were.

There was the CD at the pub I used to go to a few years ago, Painted Black (wasn’t it Paint It Black?) and I Wanna Be Your Dog would often play. Then I forgot about them.

They remind me of Deltahead but less filthy. The Deltahead are true slobs. However, like them, they have a flaw: after a while, they become boring. Towards the end of the album, it felt like I was hearing the same song over and over again.

Thank you, hugoniot. On Cabaret Walter's MySpace (http://www.myspace.com/cabaretwalter), you'll find some whole songs; for the rest, I don't think it's easily available. If you really care, I can come up with something...
