But thank God we are not the same person! Mine was a personal opinion, as a woman, since it seems to me that you always compare yourself with the boys. And your way of talking about your girlfriend honestly makes me feel a bit uncomfortable. Have her chime in, I would be curious to know what she thinks. It's not a matter of taboos, but it's a matter of being my business and my boyfriend's, and I don't see either the usefulness or the point of flaunting them around. Maybe you feel like you have something to prove. Bah.

Antmo, you're the same old thick-headed one: it's a song from the album. *Campaign 2008-2009 to revive the healthy habit of checking song titles* :)

If my boyfriend went on any site to say that we love sex and do it often, I would be quite annoyed. It may be a huge YES to life (...), joyfulness and playfulness (...), but it's an intimate and private matter. Unless you and your girlfriend are exhibitionists, then fine.

This album came out just a little before the self-titled one by Liars, huh.

It grows a little, but it doesn't tell me much. Aside from a few songs, like Batcat (which reminds me of Tool, complete with a disturbing video) and Kings Meadow. Mr. Beast was already another planet, let alone the rest. This year is a bastard; many albums I've been waiting for have come out, and they all seem bland to me. Or is it old age? Who knows...

I've never been very connected either with Spacemen 3 or with Spiritualized afterward. The album is a jumble of disconnected stuff, but it's enjoyable. A bit like listening to the radio. But in Take Your Time, is Gillespie from Primal Scream singing, or am I experiencing auditory hallucinations? In the same heterogeneous genre, I liked Beyond the Wizard's Sleeve much more, a collection of kraut, '60s, and psychedelic remixes that goes down beautifully.

Holy words, damn. But I’ve never listened to Buffalo Tom; I’ve only heard a (nice, nice) cover of Going Underground by The Jam. And in my head, they short-circuit with Buffalo Springfield, even though I know they’re not related at all.

Here, perhaps my mistake was listening to it only once. I'll try again, maybe I'll be luckier.

I happened to see the video for I Wish I Was Someone Better and I decided to avoid them like the plague. But isn't music like this sold by the kilo these days in England? Great job Mary, but I wouldn't call the Evens folk rock. I believe the luthier is named Yuri... he made a balalaika!
