I had listened to it on Myspace, I think. I didn't like it. Massafra, on the other hand, stayed in my heart.

Here is what I discovered: The first album by Decibel was released in a promotional version, before the official one. It had a white label (the official one was ochre) which featured only the writing "DECIBEL". Spaghetti Records, Catalog Number ZPLSR 34030

The link I provided above shows the label of the "PROMO" version where you can see, if you look closely, that the authors are Joe Vescovi (who produced the album) along with Sbrigo and Salvatori (who were session musicians working with Dik Dik), because none of the Decibel members were registered with SIAE. Some time later, the album was officially released which actually has no title but was immediately colloquially referred to as "Punk" due to the writing on the cover. In the new edition, the names of the authors were replaced with the real ones (Ruggeri, Turatti, Mancini).

The album is nonetheless cataloged in the archives of BMG (formerly RCA, licensee of Spaghetti founded by Shel Shapiro) as Artist: DECIBEL Title: "PUNK" As if to say that, by popular demand (and perhaps because Punk was fashionable at that time), the title changed, although not officially.
