The technical quality of the record is excellent even though the long-standing issue has not officially been resolved yet. The album I’ve listened to and owned, aside from Elegant People and Birth of Island, where I challenge anyone not to recognize the touch of John Francis Pastorius III, is totally devoid of any bass line.
