I only have Pale Folklore by Agalloch, and I've been in love with that album since the first listen. Now I'll also get The Mantle and this one. Perhaps the influences of Opeth are present in the acoustic parts, even though the band's essence is predominantly doom.

Great album, maybe the subsequent ones are better but it's a colossus of grind. Regurgitation of giblets is the best along with Genital grinder and Malignant defecation :D

I listened to some songs from this CD and, apart from Chtulu Dawn, they didn't excite me. Cradle Of Filth gives me the impression of a band for depressed fifteen-year-old kids.
