THE REVIEW

An exceptional album..... in short, a gem for those who dare, or would dare to play an instrument, maybe a guiTAR. However, our dear Carmen Sconsolata offers us little irony and much trash, in the true sense of the word.

In short, an album where the dear "SINGER", elaborates, chews, and perpetuates, a sound born from the solid Italian folk tradition, where anyone who plays or imagines a piece must always feel "confused", or "unhappy", because otherwise, for some strange reason, they cannot experience sweet emotions.

In reality, I say that for this album words are not wasted, so I conclude this somewhat trashy review with a farsighted example. Carmen Sconsolata’s album is comparable to the kitsch garbage of LORELLA CUCCARINI (WHO CAUGHT HER), the star of the sappy Sanremo of a few years ago.

OK..... REVIEW FINISHED...... I HOPE IT'S NOT THAT BAD....... I PUT THE MAXIMUM EFFORT.........

PS IT'S NOT TRUE ANYWAY........ SAY HI TO YOUR SISTER

The review offers an ironic and critical perspective on Carmen Consoli's album 'Confusa E Felice'. It highlights the strong Italian folk influences but criticizes the album's sound as 'trash' and overly kitsch. A comparison to Lorella Cuccarini's Sanremo performance underscores the skeptical tone. The reviewer questions the emotional depth the album claims to convey.

"It is precisely the naturalness and the incredible talent, still raw, and not pressured by a success that would come only later, that creates the miracle."

"Every breath, every gasp of Carmen touches the farthest strings of the soul, and then the whole song evolves, explodes, and rigidly becomes an unrestrained scream."

Consoli in 1997 was a true flash that lit up for a moment the Italian music scene.

'Fino All’Ultimo'... truly remarkable and impactful.
