Amandine This Is Where Our Hearts Collide

@NickGhostDrake: I definitely didn't mean to insinuate that you wrote the review for the rating, far from it.. it was just a "technical" observation, so to speak. As for the rest, I repeat, one writes for passion and ratings really don't matter much, even though obviously (at least as far as I'm concerned) it's nice to be appreciated.

Well, I don’t want to be a party pooper, but for me this review is definitely not a five... It might be that I suddenly got a bit dull, but the review is not analytical at all, like zero... I understand the taste for writing, but I believe a review should also present at least some analysis; otherwise, they are just free thoughts. For example, I who do not know either the artists listed or the album in question understood absolutely nothing, I mean I have no idea what music is on this record, and I don’t think the first warm days have made me brainless... Honestly, I hope someone shares my point of view, and that someone else can explain to me, if they want to, why such a review is worth a 5. Then, for goodness' sake, I don’t want to start a debate; in the end, it’s just a game. It’s just to understand.

Certainly, it's much better than the other, but at least talking a bit about the execution of the pieces and the performances of the members... for the rest, I've listened and re-listened trying to grasp their greatness, but honestly speaking, apart from a few nice ideas (especially in the early albums like AEnima), I haven't succeeded.

Here, the metal is only in the approach.. the music is hard rock, as pure as it gets, just a bit more noir and less sunny than that of the monsters, the Zep...
Peter Gabriel II
Voto:
Well, Gabriel was an incredible one in Genesis, one of the most multifaceted and brilliant artistic personalities ever remembered in rock. In his solo work, however, he doesn't always convince me, apart from "Passion," which is a masterpiece without any doubt.. This is a decent album but it never really takes flight; moreover, I find Fripp's guitar to be quite annoying, but that's just my personal taste. I've never really appreciated the crimson king and his intellectualism at all costs, and honestly, I feel a genuine dislike towards him.

He he... BB King is an incredible artist, even though he’s not my favorite. Absolutely amazing live, though, review full of feeling, to use one of your words. Great.

Yes, the album is very nice, it's a shame that in the long run it has bothered me.

Excellent review, well done. I'm not familiar with the album, so I can't express a judgment on it. I can say that I don't like his voice or his music in general; maybe this record will prove me wrong.

Rating for the album

The review is very nice, the album I believe is a masterpiece of progressive music, with the peculiarity of being enjoyable even for an ear not accustomed to progressive sounds. Gioco di Bimba is one of the most beautiful songs of all time, it's a shame that the subsequent albums are not exactly of the same cloth.
