Eric Clapton Eric Clapton's Rainbow Concert
Voto:
Well, honestly, I just can't understand what makes Eric Clapton great: okay, he is evidently an amazing guitarist, no doubt about it. I remember a blues jam with Jaco Pastorius that gives me chills, one of the most exciting things I've ever heard.
But, let's take an overview of his solo career, after Cream, so to speak: among the various anthologies, it doesn't seem to me that there are many significant episodes; actually, I would only mention "Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs" and "Unplugged."
I don't know, I really don't like him: in the blues genre, I much prefer the forefathers, even if they are technically less skilled, and in the rock/hard rock realm, I would choose Led Zeppelin for life. Anyway, objectively, I don't think a musician like that could get anything less than a three.

Besides, I don't think Jim Morrison insulted you... come on, "stupid" is not really an insult...

@kobra: Ok, you’re fifteen and you’re more than forgiven, so to speak... just maybe next time try reviewing an entire album, even one that’s already been reviewed, instead of just a song. How about reviewing "Waiting For The Sun"? There are dozens of reviews on the albums of System of a Down, so it’s hard to imagine there aren’t some for the Doors as well... And anyway, don’t take the negative comments too personally; I’m saying this as someone who tends to be quite sensitive... In the end, we’re just talking about music, everyone sees it differently, no problem as long as we don’t insult each other. Here’s a little encouragement... :-)

Yes, yes, the usual free interpretation of Jim's words... the usual forced connections... not to mention that the review is completely off-topic. As for "Five to One," it really is a song with an incredibly obscure meaning... anyway, I also believe it has to do with bestial sex. Let’s not forget that Morrison was always drunk, so it’s not always easy to find a coherent meaning in his songs. Does the rating need to be given to the song? Fine.

Great album, with more neurotic sounds compared to the classics but almost equally beautiful. I fully agree with the reviewer's rating. "Sound Chaser" is impressive.

Indeed, Viva Lì is right; as usual, it wasn’t much, but in symbiosis with De André, he was an excellent composer. I also listened to "Quel Lungo treno," but it really didn’t convince me.

Well, it must have been extraordinary... I must say that eighty years look really good on him, his performances are always exciting. Of course, a more essential setup would have been ideal for my tastes, but one has to make do... :-)

I meant it would be better for you to buy the CD I recommended; you could even toss this one away.
