Yes Big Generator

Really ugly, Trevor Rabin in my opinion was a kick in the balls to Yes, with his rough and raw guitar playing, focused more on special effects than on a touch of class.

Interesting, legendary Lou Reed! But what year is this album from?

Jackline, do you feel like explaining to me what makes you say that I am a communist? You must be really afraid of them to see them everywhere.

@dedoluz: if you put it that way, I agree, I mean if they don't convey anything to you it's clear that you find them cold, it's a subjective thing and that's fine. However, I believe that the criticisms about coldness concern the approach, the way of playing, the fact that they don't act like monkeys, basically.

Moreover, it seems to me that the Theater have written pieces whose originality few can argue against; I will just cite a few glaring examples: Metropolis pt1, Surrounded, Take The Time, Ytsejam, the already mentioned Space Dye Vest, Erotomania, A Change Of Seasons. Regarding the other pieces, I can agree with those who say that progressiveness has not always been the approach taken. Nevertheless, I don't think that Metropolis pt2 is a bad album. In short, I repeat, for me certain criticisms are unfounded.

Well, it doesn’t seem to me that Theater are unoriginal; certainly, the influences of classic progressive and metal are quite evident: I manage to grasp the former fairly easily, being a big fan, while the latter less so, but many have pointed them out in these contexts, particularly in the album Train Of Thought. Where’s the scandal for a master group in the prog-metal genre? Perhaps Led Zeppelin, masters of hard rock, didn’t draw heavily from the blues? Is the music of Emerson Lake and Palmer and Genesis a flaw in my ear or is it filled with classical music? There are few bands that can boast of having created a sound almost from scratch: thinking about it, only Floyd and the Doors from the period before The Soft Parade come to mind.

And then the great Augusto Daolio, one of the most charismatic and talented frontmen our music has ever had. Simply exceptional is his heartfelt interpretation of Salutami le Stelle.

Beautiful indeed, a great album, a milestone of Italian popular music. It's a shame that the Nomadi are snubbed by a certain bigoted and blind audience that sees them only as a leftist group, failing to understand that the content and the intrinsic messages of those songs have a universal value, not biased. Those who have listened to Uno come Noi, which by the way is a strong indictment against the communist regime, know what I’m talking about.
