David Gilmour On An Island Tour - Piazza S.Croce Firenze 02/08/2006

Same here, an immense emotion, the review captures exactly my feelings in Rome. Truly a magnificent show. As for a hypothetical reunion, as a fan of the Floyd, I really hope there will never be one; a tour would be something sensational, but for heaven's sake, no albums, I couldn't accept a subpar record from the Floyd.

I really like it, especially for its variety: the previous albums, in my opinion, were a bit too monotonous, always favoring hard and loud sounds. In this album, however, there’s a bit of everything. Mexico and Echo are fantastic in my view, and the two singles are also very “right.” Whether it's Pop or Rock or Nu Metal or Cross-Over, I don't care; for me, it’s truly a great album. By the way, I believe the singer shines in the slow and melodic tracks like Mexico and in those that require a warm and expressive voice, like Echo. For me, it’s their best album.
Roger Waters The Dark Side Of The Moon Live 2006

I didn't attend the concert, so I can't judge it. That said, Waters' interpretations (even of songs he wrote) leave me very, very perplexed, aside from exceptions like "Set The Control..." which, by the way, I don’t see how it can be connected to Syd Barrett (perhaps only because it was composed when Barrett was still officially part of the band). In short, setting aside the deep personal dislike I have for him (I mean his public image; I don’t know him personally), for me, Waters was a great rock composer and a decent but fairly original bassist. But in his solo work, he doesn't hold a candle to Gilmour.

Beautiful review, well written and also very clear regarding the characteristics of the album, without unnecessary fluff or long-winded turns of phrase. I believe I have understood exactly the kind of music I will find there... I will listen to it, good job.

Oh my God, what a hottie Aguilera is.. My goodness, she deserves a passing grade just for how gorgeous she is.

Music of pure shit, this sounds only because, for some reason I don't understand, it's recommended by Vasco Rossi. The review says a lot of absurd things, let's say it's a true repudiation of absurdity. However, it's readable and written well enough.

Reggae Obla di obla da? Are you sure, I wouldn’t say so, still the album isn’t bad, let’s say that Paul really brought out his best with the Beatles. Good review.

For heaven's sake, an intellectual like many others, if in his intentions he wants to be a discordant note in the choir, in reality, he is perfectly integrated. And then his pieces are devoid of any poetic and musical value, to me he is a kind of Capareza.

Eh eh, Fidia, check out my review of Brian Eno Pagina non trovata out of spite he wrote a comment identical to mine (which is definitely quite agreeable, even judging by most of the other comments). No surprise with guys like that.
