Exciting record, I wouldn't say so, at least not according to my conception of emotion. After all, it doesn't aim to be emotional; in fact, it doesn't want to be music at all.
Anthony Phillips Dragonfly Dreams: Private Parts & Pieces IX

Certainly very refined music, as we are used to hearing from Phillips. The problem with these records, however, is that in the long run they become boring, at least for me... excellent review, concise but very clear and helpful.

Well, Five Leaves Left is still a bit raw and perhaps a bit heavy in terms of arrangements and atmospheres, as splendid as it is. Pink Moon is too sparse and minimal, although everything there is functional to convey Drake's state of mind, truly an unappreciated genius. This achieves perfection from every standpoint, including production.

@Lethe: the pleasure is all mine, especially because you write excellent reviews. About that matter of refinement, it was more about wanting to nitpick (in fact, I gave you a 5... :) ). Regarding guitar technique, I still have some doubts; there's no question about compositional greatness, but on a technical level... not that it particularly interests me, it was just out of my own curiosity. I would like to mention a perhaps lesser-known piece, "They're Red Hot," which has a hilarious cover by the Red Hot Chili Peppers on the album Blood Sugar.. See you soon-

Extraordinary artist, touching album. A delicate review but a bit syrupy... The stylistic perfection achieved in this album, I refer to the splendid title track for example, is truly admirable. Poetry.

I strongly agree with Bartleboom.

It's also true that I haven't seen many really good reviews for this album: certainly, this one isn't exciting in my opinion either, and then you can't say that Iron Maiden aren't metal, when they practically invented it, right? In short, a band so iconic can't be dismissed with such a poorly motivated and argued judgment. That's my opinion. The album is fantastic in some parts, particularly the single and "Legacy," while in other parts it feels recycled, which is inevitable for a band that has been around for so long... Anyway, it's a respectable work. The review, well, insufficient, always without resentment.
Fabrizio De Andrè / Premiata Forneria Marconi In Concerto Vol. I e II
Voto:
Great live performance, exceptional the basic idea, fantastic arrangements. Unique. The review is very good, but I didn't quite understand the connection between the speech made in the introduction and PFM/De Andrè: which one would recycle and which one would always seek new solutions, risking to close themselves in a niche? I don’t know, it seems to me that neither of them recycles... maybe PFM...

In parentheses, recognized father, since his songs are among the most covered and copied (Rolling Stones, Clapton, Zep, and I’ll stop here...)
