Johnny Cash American IV: The Man Comes Around
Voto:
fabulous album for an immeasurable artist
Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin II
Voto:
Ramble On is a masterpiece, nothing less than a minor episode. On this album, there are no minor episodes, perhaps just Living Loving Maid.
Lou Reed Ecstasy

I more or less agree with the author of the review; objectively, it doesn't add much to his extraordinary career. Let's say that Lou has accustomed us to alternating stratospheric albums with more lighthearted works that don't have grand pretensions, but that doesn't make them necessarily less valid (just look at "Coney Island Baby," which he himself referred to as music to listen to in the supermarket or while reading a newspaper). For me, it's three and a half also because Lou Reed is Lou Reed.

Incredible, I had removed them...
Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin

DenverNuggets, I don't know how you can say that Led Zeppelin had no soul.. Are you kidding? Who would have soul in your opinion?
Pink Floyd Ummagumma
Voto:
I actually said it might be worth less than four... because I believe it’s a transitional album where the band still seems a bit uncertain about the path to take, although there are some valuable tracks. Should I even explain the greatness of The Wall? For me, it is THE masterpiece par excellence.

I more or less agree with the reviewer, except for the rating: I don't think there is a Pink Floyd album that is worth less than four, perhaps only A Sacerfoul Of Secrets. Of the compositions, in my opinion, the best is Grantchester Meadows; the others are very raw but extremely valid when viewed from an experimental perspective. I also really like Wright's piece.
J.J. Cale & Eric Clapton The Road To Escondido
Voto:
I’d say I mostly agree with what you’re writing; after all, Eric Clapton is the most overrated guitarist in history (in reality, he’s one of the most mediocre I know in terms of songwriting), and JJ Cale, as you rightly point out, has been in mothballs for a while. However, he is enjoyable, so I’d say two stars are fair.
