And since I'm here, I’ll also place the poster of a documentary (at least I think it's a documentary) that tells the story of Trumbo. You can see Trumbo himself during the creative act immersed in his bathtub: Ingrandisci questa immagine

Look, I even found it for you: Ingrandisci questa immagine

Well, Nosebleed, in the strip there's a guy without legs and arms, all bandaged up like a mummy, in a military hospital bed with some doctors and nurses around, scrambling to keep him alive while he curses (in his mind) in various ways... I put two and two together. :-)

I mean, this Trumbo was writing in his bathtub (?!?). By the way, I remember a strip from Bonvi's Sturmtruppen inspired by this novel-film...

Ah yes, the taxi driver, if I remember correctly, was passionate about Wagner. Like all taxi drivers, after all...

@nes: try watching this short interview: – You'll hear Giovanni Allevi inviting the unaware listener to go to a certain supermarket, where Allevi himself does his shopping, to have an aperitif (?!?). And do you know why? Because this way, the listener will have the chance to meet a "Great contemporary composer," namely little Giovanni himself. Ah, he, the great composer, really enjoys being there in that supermarket or in other places, among the "common mortals," because from such situations, from the encounter with those destined to perish, he, the immortal, draws inspiration for his music, etc... But what I find the best is the incredibly intelligent expression that the great pianist-composer always has printed on his face... If only we had more like him...

"Do you really think you know me / I don't think so at all / Do you really think you know me / And now I'm going to surprise you." ---> As a chorus, it makes perfect sense...

Having read the review, listened to the interview, and seen the book trailer (by the way, great idea imho). I think I’ll grab this book, just to see where Everett wants to go with it. Bye. :-)

On Thursday at "Anno Zero," I heard the famous phone interception from '82, the one where Berlusconi, Dell'Utri, and Confalonieri talk about the bomb placed by Mangano on the gate of the Arcore villa, calling it something done with "respect, almost with affection"... "there are people who send registered letters, he places the bomb."... "He can't write..." "Ah Ah Ah Ah...". I had already read the transcript, I had heard Travaglio reading it, but listening to it in the voices of the protagonists... Well... How can I put it... It hits hard! This song, I don't know...

Ah, so it’s true that "sometimes they come back"... :-) @madcat: Tim’s best records are this live one, "Happy Sad," and "Blue Afternoon." Bye.
