Yes, nice track but a bit weak.

"... no bullshit: 'Castelli di Rabbia', 'Novecento', and 'Oceano Mare' are three great 'literary works...' ---> Yeah, sure..."

Well, I hope Baricco quadruples his fortune. As a writer, he'd still suck, I guess... And regarding his readings of others' texts: I remember that of "Heart of Darkness." He ended with smoke, like the concerts of the Pooh...

Crap. And "Lesson 21," a film by Baricco starring Professor Kilroy, is crap too.

Comrade, I saw "It's all true" on TV on "Fuori orario" accompanied by a small introductory documentary. It was said that Orson Welles reluctantly left for Brazil, but then, being in touch with the people, he became passionate about the project. A project that, like many others unfortunately, he didn’t manage to complete. Then again, according to Welles' standards, "It's all true" might be a disaster, but who cares?:-). @Holdsworth: I don't know if "it's all true" has been released on DVD (it’s stuff like "archive footage"), but you should be able to easily find "Il processo".

"(Orson Welles) is in Brazil, he is making a documentary, he is sad and angry, he keeps writing his unheard instructions and watches the carnival like someone whose eyes are distant, fixed within their own abyss." ---> Well, maybe, but what he shot in Brazil for "It's all true" is really beautiful, just beautiful. Like this film, after all...

How come it hasn't been reissued on CD? It definitely has been reissued, it's just that it's out of print now, along with "Blue afternoon." Personally, I still prefer the folk phase.

Nice movie.

Omaha, as I see it, Paolo Barnard would do well to take it out on Gabanelli. I've never understood why he took it out on Travaglio.

Seen and heard live several times, for free but without the D.J...
