Marillion Misplaced Childhood

Here, the song is terrible, the video is pathetic, but in my opinion, here (https://www.debaser.it/main/Video.aspx?y=M5y7LtKGYLM) Fish has fulfilled a dream. :-)

@Thejargonking, try opening the video I linked (which I assume you've already seen before). Aside from the fact that "Garden Party," in terms of structure, rhythm, and that literary-theatrical, almost fairytale-like essence, is a piece that's definitely à la Genesis... Apart from the keyboardist sounding exactly like Tony Banks, with the same sounds from the "The Lamb...", "Trick of..." and "Wind and..." era, right hand solos, left hand organ pad. So, besides that, take a look at Fish: The trick, the mimicry... Doesn't it remind you of someone?

"In crisis, Italian cinema? Where? When? These are the years of the most devastating hits ("Salò", "Todo Modo", the last films of Commedia all'Italiana)" ---> Indeed, and let's not forget "Pasqualino settebellezze"... :-)

Sweet Kayleigh and Lavender, the rest is boredom... Anyway, the Marillion have not resurrected a genre; they have resurrected Genesis, and that's exactly why I like them:

Here... I mean, no, what I meant to say is that… Leni Riefenstahl was not only the director of the National Socialist party (http://www.leni-riefenstahl.de/eng/nuba.html).

Genesis Follow You Follow Me

MMhhh... I’ll be picky: "Follow you follow me" does not herald a "new era" for Genesis at all. Two of the three tracks from the "spot the pigeon" EP, those signed by Banks/Rutherford/Collins, already carry the mark of "a low-grade pop". But even earlier, "Your own special way" on "Wind and Wuthering" foreshadowed an unfortunate future... All this to say that, although it is certainly a syrupy and poorly crafted song, despised by its own authors, I actually like "Follow you follow me", quite the opposite...

Well, the book isn't that bad if I remember correctly... Written like a screenplay, coincidentally... Oh my God, I read it when I was a super fan of Dylan Dog, huh... Today it would probably suck for me...
