Aside from a bit of disappointment regarding the quality of the recordings (but it couldn’t be otherwise given the time that has passed), I can confirm everything you said. It’s true, it’s not metal; I had read the first four lines and thought of a return to metal on the part of the reviewer after further listens. To be honest, I didn’t quite understand what kind of music this Oren Ambarchi was making in the following lines. The last paragraph enlightened me. I prefer the zenith straight. ;)

I almost forgot to tell you the title: "desperate straight". You'll find it on a cd that also includes "Casablanca moon". "Desperate..." is the Zappaweillian mix, while "Casablanca..." is a beautiful pop album. Again, bye.
