I don’t like Negramaro, and I’m not familiar with the bands from Salento. However, I would like to make a request to Krystal or to any other debaserano who lives or was born in Salento. Why don’t you review an album by some taranta or pizzica group? Yes, maybe living there, you’re sick of it, but in the north, where I live, a folk music that is so tied to the territory and especially enjoyable is an unknown reality (for us, there’s only liscio or the duo from Piadena). Hi.

I would easily skip over today's Vasco Rossi. The Vasco of that time, however, was a marvel. "Per quello che ho da fare..." is one of his most entertaining tracks, reminding me of the comics by another great Emiliano who sadly passed away eleven years ago: Bonvi, the creator of "Sturmtruppen." Anyway, I don't understand why a twenty-year-old today shouldn't get this album. Marco, you seem to be in your thirties. When "non siamo mica gli americani" came out, how old were you, 4, 5, 6, 7? Did you know what was happening in Italy? If so, you were a prodigy; if not, you were just a regular kid who learned about things later, read or listened to them, but didn’t live them. And anyway, I don’t think that to understand an album like this, one needs to be aware of the historical context. I met Vasco at 12, meaning I cared very little about politics or the "situation"... Ah, and vaudeville is a theatrical genre, not a musical one...

Is Bob Dylan blatantly out of tune? Is his nasal voice "clogging"? But how is a nasal voice "clogging"? Look, Marco, I've read some debatable statements in your reviews, but when I pointed them out to you, you didn't respond, so I stopped... But at least in the other instances, those statements were relevant, in the sense that they pertained to the artist you were reviewing. Why does Bob Dylan come up in a review about Radiohead when, by the way, he is not, has never been, and will never be out of tune?

But did they reprint them together? I have "Alive I" and "Alive II" separate, on vinyl. And then you were a bit too harsh in judging their abilities. It seems to me that Paul Stanley has a really nice voice, Ace was a great guitarist, Peter (but you've mentioned this) was a good drummer with a lovely raspy voice that he showcased in "Beth." Gene Simmons, on the other hand, had a terrifying tongue. :)

Yes, I know that "your own special way" was written by Rutherford, but in the romantic context of "Wind and Wuthering," it feels a bit too easy and foreshadows the mushy stuff that Genesis will produce in the following years. "Wot Gorilla?" is, on the other hand, a great instrumental piece perfectly in tune with the context of the album and especially with their present/past.

And why would you want to remove "wot gorilla?" from "Wind and wuthering"? At most "You're own special way" but certainly not "wot gorilla"!!!

Well, this review is nice (as usual), but that one by stronko (just to mention one on the right) isn't bad...

Good job, nice review. Joe Cavalli, did you manage to find this record or not, and if you didn't, how can you say that 5 stars are a bit too much? Boo to you, Joe Cavalli.;)

@third eye: look, I haven't denied the charm of Prague in either my first post or my second, and I really appreciated your tribute. :)

Yes, today the mysticism of Prague is good only for tourism. Like the books about the origin of the city (I bought one) that say it was founded by three witches, or the t-shirts with the cockroach sporting Kafka's face (I avoided those). But at Staroměstské náměstí, the old square, and in every alley, I left a piece of my heart. "Amadeus" was filmed in Prague, and I remember an interview with Miloš Forman where he said that, thanks to communism, he didn't have to move a lamppost or take down any posters to find a 18th-century city. Ashledanou (if I wrote it correctly means Goodbye).
