The second sample reminds me of the Orphic Casadei.;)

Well done, Tiny, for getting the disc. :) Would my review have pleased Mozart??? Wow, that’s the nicest compliment I’ve received since I've been on Debaser. :-) @Grasshopper: I checked, you’re right, his name is Giuliano CarmIgnola... Which shows that I have really listened to his disc very little. ;-) @Know-it-all: Conlon Nancarrow is an American composer. I asked because it seems you like the classical music of the last century. I remember your review on Charles Ives... Nancarrow was a bizarre character; he composed incredibly intricate music, to the point that he couldn't find musicians capable of playing it as he wanted. So he used the player piano, you know? The one that plays by itself during brawls in western movies... The one with the punched rolls... He spent a ton of time punching rolls... His music has since been transcribed for orchestra. I think it’s beautiful. But enough for now, or I’ll burn one of my upcoming reviews. :-) Hi everyone.

Well, Happy, I downloaded the movie after this avalanche of comments... At the time, I ignored it having heard both good and bad things. I did well, at least I didn't waste my money... I wouldn't save anything from this film. A "scientific" movie that shows you every piece of flesh flying off Christ's body and evokes no emotion whatsoever. The direction is static, wooden, a fitting expression of such a "director." We are far from the expressiveness of Pasolini's "gospel..." where every frame conveys a sense of compassion... I couldn't feel even a little for Gibson's Christ. I won't give it a rating because this shit doesn't even deserve one...

Well, Mariaelena, even the scene you mentioned seems ridiculous to me... And ridiculous is the crow that pecks the unrepentant thief... A rather simple-minded way of representing sin and those who truly cause it. I remember a beautiful song by Bob Dylan that said, if I'm not mistaken: "You know sometimes devil comes as a man of peace"... Sweet dreams.
