Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso Buone Notizie

I managed to find this album and I have to agree with the reviewer. Spectacular "Taxi": the beauty of this track is not so much in the music (an easy, catchy, and immediate pop), but in the ruthless and sharp lyrics (<<... the radio sometimes isn't convincing/special news has invited users/sleep more soundly with a knife between your teeth...>>). The little instrumental "AM-FM" is pleasant... "Canzone d'amore" and "Michele e il Treno" can also be listened to without a hitch. Yes, it reaches a 3...

Thank you Beatboy... I'm following your advice and I'm getting some material from this amazing band! I started with this album because it inspired confidence in me. Well, "Contrappunti" is simply fantastic... it amazed and fascinated me (especially the title track... wonderful). Some sounds are very close to EL&P and that can only be a good thing - Now I've also got "Felona E Sorona" in both the Italian and English versions (the latter from the internet because it's hard to find), but I haven't listened to them properly yet. I'll let you know!

An excellent record, even better than the debut album (could this be why it sold less?). An example of simple and immediate music, yet infused with great class.
Trapeze You Are The Music, We're Just The Band
Voto:
Very interesting proposal: Trapeze are a very valid group, and it's truly a shame that they don't get much attention. Glenn Hughes undoubtedly has a great voice... when he leaves the band, he will be excellently replaced by Peter Goalby (whom I prefer): a great example is "Dead Armadillos: Live In Texas."

I liked it... but when it comes to Pink Floyd & CO., I don't think I can be very objective!
Judas Priest Priest... Live!
Voto:
Right, I totally agree with the assessment! The choice to modify the drum sound with some echoes and digital reverbs (typical of the time) isn't bad at all: it might not be the most beautiful thing in the world, but it doesn't clash at all in this live performance... it was the '80s, and there was no other way to do it! A good concert, no doubt about it.

Great, one of the best albums of the post-"90125" era. In the other review, I gave it a 4, but I realize that a 5 is also fitting! - Excellent review.
King Crimson Beat
Voto:
In my opinion, it's a small step (but a small one) below that masterpiece "Discipline." "Beat" is a good album without a doubt... it just retraces exactly the style and peculiarities of its predecessor. Making a comparison, perhaps a bit daring, I would use the ratio << "Discipline":"Beat" = "In The Court Of The Crimson King":"In The Wake Of Poseidon" >>. My favorite tracks... "Neal and Jack and Me," "Sartori In Tangier" (truly phenomenal, with a stunning Tony Levin!) and "Neurotica"... anyway, everything else is still at excellent levels. It's a pity about the brevity (just a little over half an hour).
Boston Corporate America

I agree with Pier Paolo... this album is rather mediocre, although there are still some interesting points. Perhaps it’s the worst of Boston (although I wasn't particularly fond of "Walk On" either)... incomparable to the first three. What a shame!
