Point Blank On A Roll
Voto:
@Mauro: this band released 6 albums from '76 to '82... and they are: Point Blank, Second Season, Air Play, The Hard Way, American Excess, On A Roll. The first four are pure southern rock, with significant hard rock moments (in "The Hard Way" there's even a live cover of "Highway Star"). In "American Excess" the AOR drift begins, concluding with "On A Roll." - Zero availability anyway... I've never seen anything in stores: in the end, I had to download them from eMule (you still need to get the entire discography at once). A few vinyls circulate on eBay and in second-hand markets. - I hope I was helpful!

Oh yes, the Point Blank finally appear on DeBaser! Great choice Pier Paolo. - Even though it's less southern and more oriented towards AOR, it's my favorite in their discography: tracks like "On A Roll" and "Great White Line" are of stratospheric power. I give it a 5. - Well done and congrats again for the recovery!

Great review, and I also agree with the rating of the album. At certain points it’s a bit sappy (the same flaw as "Sports"), but tracks like "Hip To Be Square" have a fantastic drive. I didn't remember that "The Power Of Love" was included in the album…

Hi Pibroch... I really don't think it's a movie for me, anyway (as always) this is a great page!

Wow, it must be amazing... plus Jackie Chan is one of my idols. But why did they decide to import it only now?
Yes Tales From Topographic Oceans
Voto:
Excessive disco but with two memorable tracks: "Ritual" and "The Revealing Science Of God"... the other two are less successful but acceptable. A rating on the debaserian scale would be 3 stars and 1/2. - The review is a potpourri of nonsense... no rating.

Nice review... I have volume n°2 of this collection, and to be honest it doesn't seem all that great to me. Maybe they rightly included the best stuff in this Vol. n°1! I’ll get the mule going...
