Eric Clapton Eric Clapton's Rainbow Concert
Voto:
In my opinion, it's a good concert but not exceptional... Clapton has done better ones. Personally, I really like "Just One Night." - The "Rainbow Concert" would deserve three stars, but things improve significantly (...it goes up to four stars...) with the remastered and expanded version that adds the great performances of "Layla," "Blues Power," and "Crossroads."

Yes, of course, it won't be a masterpiece (the Queen of the '80s are undeniably more commercial than those of the previous decade), but "not a masterpiece" doesn't necessarily mean "crap"! If you give this a 1, just out of curiosity, what do you give to "Hot Space"... -10? This album, in my opinion, deserves 3.5/5! The review is well-written, although it feels quite provocative... so I'll refrain from rating it.

I would have liked to write this review myself. Now there's no need since, among other things, you wrote it really well. Excellent album (even though the title track leaves me a bit perplexed at times) and nothing else to add.

I would give this album 4 and a half stars, pleasant and very energetic. As Nickbelane mentioned earlier... a good and heartfelt review.

Well, then I'll take a look at the movie too, also to see how and where the songs are used... thanks for the tip!

I haven't seen the film, but from the comments, I haven't missed a masterpiece... the soundtrack, however, is definitely enjoyable.

I didn't expect to come across such a beautiful album... a big thank you to Vinsex for introducing it to me. From now on, it will surely be frequent in my CD player!
Cat Stevens Back To Earth
Voto:
Unfortunately, I have only listened to the most famous works of Cat Stevens and, honestly, I am not familiar with his downward spiral. However, from how you describe it, it seems absolutely unmistakable that he has lost that "touch" he once had...
