Pink Floyd A Momentary Lapse of Reason
Voto:
In my opinion, the album deserves 3 and a half stars. It's definitely enjoyable, although at times, a bit too commercial... My favorite is "Terminal Frost." It may be less thought-out compared to the band’s previous albums, but it brings a breath of fresh air after the oppressive (though, all things considered, enjoyable) "The Final Cut." We should also take into account that the period between 1984-87 was defined as the most controversial for old-school rock: practically everyone converted to heavy synths (a prime example being "Camouflage" by Rod Stewart)... and this "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" seems considerably superior to the average output of those years. - The review, although it doesn't say much, captures the spirit of the album quite well: namely, bringing together usefulness and enjoyment... having fun and, why not, making a good profit out of it.

AXL you have 5 comments per day. You've already used up 2. Use the other 3 wisely.
Yes Big Generator
Voto:
The album tries to replicate the excellent "90125" (I want to clarify right away that I am not opposed to the pop-rock shift of progressive bands... the important thing is that the quality remains unchanged). The fundamental difference between "Big Generator" and its predecessor lies in the fact that the big generator is much less inspired (it also feels more like a Rabin solo album rather than an YES record)... Even the production, definitely muddled (some tracks produced by Horn, who was later fired... the others: some produced by Rabin, some produced by the whole group), doesn't help the album at all. However, the presence of great tracks like "Rhythm Of Love" and, especially, "Shoot High, Aim Low," manages to raise the overall level.... Rating 5/10 (in a burst of generosity, I round it up to 3). Good review.

I'll add you to the list right away. Also, I'm giving you an honest 1 for the Vasco in your nickname.

Epochal album: a fundamental pillar of progressive rock. "Supper's Ready" is nothing short of extraordinary... and all the other tracks are excellent too!

I think the album is excellent: as I mentioned in the 5th review of "Animals," which came out just a couple of days ago, I believe it's a 4 and a half star album. Overall, a good review... after all, everyone is free to express their opinion.

Very interesting report. I have never delved into the topic of New Trolls. However, from what you say (and also from what the comments say), I will focus on Concerto Grosso N°1.
