Settling? No, my dear.. with all the love I have for the PJ, I take "Backspacer" out of the player and put on "Eternally Yours" by the Saints... and this I call settling!

One of the most beautiful reviews I've ever read about Db and an album that slowly starts to engage/embrace me....

Useless and pompous group...
Fiorella Mannoia Ho imparato a sognare

Great review. I haven't listened to the album, but I already have a problem with the project; it's yet another cover album imposed by record companies after the recent "rubbish" produced by Vanoni, Di Morandi, Baglioni—yet another bunch of has-beens who have nothing left to say, who have an open tab with the plastic surgeon. As you rightly pointed out, the guest appearances on every channel, including pseudo-authors always forced and constructed by record labels like Ferro and Cremonini, idols of the matron De Filippi or Maionchi. Enough... too much garbage, and the worst part is that it's not even recyclable material...

Nice review. The album is part of my most precious memories, and those cannot be criticized...

Here between Rimini, Pesaro, and Riccione, it's considered a legend with all sorts of supposed stories linked to Satan... like a lost eye in sacrifice and similar nonsense. I saw them almost twenty years ago at the legendary Modern Casino in San Giovanni in Marignano. They were a trio, without vocals, just a guitar jam for two uninterrupted hours that was starting to smoke my balls. For me, it should be taken for what it is... no need to make comparisons with his majesty Tony Iommi... it's easily dispensable, trust me.
The Beatles Rubber Soul

There are no better or worse albums by the Beatles; each one is a masterpiece in its own way, though with different perspectives. Talking about better albums by the Beatles is reductive for a band that has made pop music a substance equal to elite genres. Even the "White Album," despite its internal compositional chaos within the band, has masterpieces like the much-discussed "Abbey Road." So I would recommend the entire works of the Beatles...without ifs and buts...

Well... it feels like prog rock... nice review.
Vic Chesnutt At The Cut

Maximal respect for Vic.. but you know what? He’s one of those artists you really have to sit down and listen to. I’ve heard the album, and there are spine-tingling moments.. I admit it. But it’s challenging for a damn rock fan like me who sometimes, secretly, pulls out the best of Kiss and enjoys it in the background, reminiscing about high school days.

Don't you think it's a bit exaggerated to say that it's the best album of 2009?
