@alessio: I watched the video of Hella, the drummer is a monster... they definitely have some great energy... but honestly, I'm not sure I could listen to an entire album... they have a hint of virtuosity and showmanship that could get tiring in the long run... I hope it's not another "orthrelm case" :-/

"Flex Your Head" is essential, a substantial appetizer of the DC hc scene (when you listen to it, keep an eye on the Red C in particular, my favorites, unfortunately they didn't go beyond those 4 songs on the compilation)... The Futurist is nice, but the latest Shellac in general don't excite me much (too pretentious), although I must say that I haven't "consumed" The Futurist, Terraform, and 1000 Hurts like the rest of Albini's discography...

Something doesn't add up; the tracklist looks the same as their first EP... I knew that Rollins, back in the day with the SOA, had recorded a medley with the Teen Idles featuring McKay where they sang Steppin' Stone... I don't know if that relates to anything...
