Yes, but not the drums: too difficult... I play the kalimba, the Bontempi keyboard, and the acoustic guitar (which I haven’t tuned in 9 years)... Bruford doesn’t fit: he did progressive and used odd time signatures... Chamberlin does rock, uses even time signatures, but that doesn’t mean his beats can’t be anticipated... you, who play the drums seriously, should know that syncopation is not necessarily linked to odd time...

I agree, Iside... however, in different periods there has always been a more or less dominant component, now glam, now hard rock, now AOR, now disco, now electronic pop, etc... anyway, yes: if I think of pure hard rock, I think of Zep or Purple, certainly not Queen, too bizarre and contaminated...
