Here, I have archived a review of this magnificent album that is the exact opposite of Ezzecchiele’s: a critical, analytical, pedantic, verbose, and anti-emotional brick of text! :-)))) By the way, regarding Waits, with a voice recognizable among thousands and a brilliant, extraordinarily exotic arranger. Soldier's Things is a lump in the throat that brings back memories of those Ol55 times.

Well... It's definitely a nice album, spirited, but a bit mellow... Talking about hardcore is out of place; it's an album that's very indebted to the early punk, the English one, the one from the Pistols and Clash, a boogie-punk, dragging, noisy... Moral Threat is the cherry on top of an album that, with its mix of noise and melody, has taught a little (just a tiny bit) to grunge and a lot (that's for sure) to the 90s punk-pop... Here and there, you can sense traces of weakened Bad Religion (Creeps, for example). An impassioned review, like all those from zigghio.

The new Mozart! ;-) Zeit remains a masterpiece of impressionist music. Nothing happens. Zero rhythm. Imagine being in space. Or think of Kubrick's Odyssey. Exactly Ash, just like that, rock music at its final stage: 4 chords, 4 minutes long, a melodic verse and a shouted chorus (or a tight verse and a relaxed chorus), violence and fragility, no waste, maximum effectiveness... The Nirvana are the ones who best embodied this aesthetic, with Nevermind...
