The cosmos couldn't hold on... and cried its tears abundantly. <<< This is called Poetry. :-) Indeed: 1967, a year of grace, I also wrote it in a never-before-seen piece on Mr. Fantasy by Traffic... Is it time for me to start approaching the overlooked masterpieces of avant-garde Italian rock... What intrigued me the most was that advice: "To be listened to with the TV on, without sound." But now I wonder: on what program??? Telemike? Carosello? Lascia o Raddoppia? Fantastico? (I've mixed up some eras, oh well...) :-P

Ah, but I haven't commented on the album yet? I’ll do it now: it's an amazing record. Not at the levels of Spiderland, where the avant-garde is insidious, camouflaged in forms that seem traditional. Tweez, on the other hand, is more openly experimental... Sometimes it sounds like the Minutemen playing Big Black, or vice versa... It’s a frenzy of odd time signatures, disquieting arpeggios, paradoxical counterpoints, constructs that have neither head nor tail, voices that do everything but sing, Albini-like and claustrophobic soundscapes, sudden breaks: like in a dream (or more often in a nightmare), you have the impression of being in a certain situation and being unable to make sense of it in any way...
