Really beautiful. The anthemic choruses, the rough sounds, and the frantic rhythms represent the connection to contemporary British punk, but the performative skill, the complexity of the arrangements, the remarkable technical background, the richness of atmospheres, the epic tone, the abundant use of solos, the references to garage and 60s psychedelia place them in a different dimension. Deeply rooted in tradition, yet fresh and inspired at the same time. Veiled by a coat of nostalgia.

Ashy, the entire 80s were centered around the theme of the maladjusted teenager, at an underground level (Descendents, Huskers, Mats, Rites of Spring and the list could potentially go on forever...): in the 90s, with grunge (and particularly with Nirvana), the phenomenon came to the surface, entered the radio and MTV, and then became fashion (obviously Cobain is not to blame, as he showed until the very end that he was sincere).

Aniel, you are right, but on the other hand, Queen has made albums that are so different from each other (and diverse within themselves) that the temptation to review them all (in depth) is indeed very strong... I too (having grown up with the Queen) am tempted sometimes, I admit it :-)))
