But hadn't I commented on it yet? Well, it's a crazy album, there's little to do... Krautrock is perhaps the masterpiece of cosmic music (along with Schulze's Ebene): one of the most influential tracks ever, 20 years ahead of its time (just look at MBV and Hash Jar Tempo, to name a couple that have nothing to do with each other). The first part is cacophonic and the ending is Wagnerian. Then there's the funny Sad Skinhead, reminiscent of Pere Ubu. Giggy Smile, surreal. Jennifer, the most ethereal post-rock (with that incredible reverberated bass). But the whole album, in its fragmentation, is a treasure trove of surprises and brilliant ideas. Pure avant-garde, in all fields, from rock to electronics to ambient. The review is beautiful but "unfinished."

It's as if Foetus plays the role of a claustrophobic avant-gardist, while the Chrome play free jazz and dodecaphonic classical music in his living room; the Residents have finally laid down their masks, revealing their horrifying and alien faces. <<< gulp! :-)

I LOVE Wooble's bass, that is, THE bass DUB par excellence.

My only thought is this: from what you wrote in this review, I couldn't understand how this album sounds. period.
