Yes, and perhaps for you his is an example to follow...I know...it's typical of idiots <<< so for you Cobain was an idiot?

Can I continue? Alright! So I’ll go with another slogan… Kurt Cobain is a piece of crap: this is proven by the fact that he didn't play solos (which isn't true, by the way).

Oh, but you are so sensitive! It's not my fault that the catchphrase these days is: "What are we going to do about the post-77?"!!! :-D

Shark, what I meant was a more "broad" discussion. I simply intended to say that the records released around '77 and included in the concept of "punk" were the starting point for many great things. The entire hardcore, noise, industrial, indie scene, etc., has its main references in '77 (intense as a symbolic year). When talking about "punk," I didn't just mean the Pistols and Ramones, but I was also referring to the new wave and the entire musical renewal of the time (in short, to that music that our Lord probably doesn't know or refuses to listen to a priori). Basically, in my previous post, in the idea of "punk," I included both the Ramones and the Pere Ubu as well as the Throbbing Gristle, etc. I know it's a superficial generalization, but my intent was to respond to Lord's skepticism. I hope I made myself clear. :-)

Well, the themes of the cartoons from the 80s were heavily influenced by synth-pop, it seems obvious to me...reverse, what nostalgia you made me feel!

"I don't like the album. It may be a masterpiece, but I just don't like it." <<< It has the "misfortune" of being released in the fateful 1977. ;-D

Yesterday I listened to it carefully again. I must say that, despite the continuous metamorphoses, I feel that some common traits can be identified across the different pieces: the multiple rhythms, the death-metal guitars, the string section. In a previous comment, I had stated that Exuviate contains the only vocal melody of the album: I was mistaken, it wasn't Exuviate but Catacomb (what silly titles!). Anyway, Bosch Erotique is terrifying: in 2 minutes of music there are about 50 samples, including noises, movie dialogues, sounds taken who knows where... incredible...
