Butthole Surfers Butthole Surfers Ep + Live PCPPEp
Voto:
Yes, for God’s sake, yes!!! What fascinates me about all these people (the Surfers like the Cows, and many others) is that behind all the noise they made, there was great expertise. A music seemingly dull and dedicated to the most extreme noise is actually fanciful and eclectic. The Butthole Surfers are very difficult to understand, but when you do, they're nothing but joy. Guaranteed.

nah...it's impossible that they are still the Suicide (they have too different voices)...anyway, this album is a milestone in electronic music...Contact is nice too, but more blurry and verbose...let's say that, after the dazzling debut, they have somewhat speculated on those simple yet effective insights that made SA a masterpiece of effectiveness and conciseness...furthermore, the songs in SA seem more successful and also more melodic to me...maybe, though, Contact is more claustrophobic and disturbed...anyway, great band!

Strabella. "Everything is destined to change.": it's true. (Although, in a Gattopardo-esque way, perhaps change is just a means to ensure that "everything remains the same as before.")
Diamanda Galas live @Auditorium - Milano 27.11.06

Vibrant report. I only know Galas by name. Beautiful this sentence: "because the blues, I mean the real one, the one that has something Luciferian, mocking, the one that laughs while contemplating the struggles of men, who wrote it? Everyone or no one." And also the ending: "a boy in the audience, while she sings, shouts 'we love you.' And Diamanda changes the last verse, and whispers 'I love you too.'" Well done, Cheri, I see you’re in great shape (after This Is My Bloody Valentine).
