Iā€™ve read so many about this Beatles review; for example, this one: "George Harrison's Eastern opening did not anticipate by how many, 20, 30 years the discovery of India and Asia in general, now also from a cinematic point of view...ā€ or like this: "they incubated and nurtured every possible musical genre embryo." Or this one: "And donā€™t come telling me 'No, The Piper is something else...' and nonsense like that. I donā€™t believe it." Well, instead you have to believe it, The Piper is something else...

beautiful flo, one of your best...I've never heard these (and I know little about Pavement too)...the fact that they donā€™t fully develop catchy melodies, but leave them just in a rough state is one of the characteristics (so Iā€™m told) of lo-fi pop...sooner or later I'll have to get my hands on Beat Happening too...
