Here we go again: the review placed there just to provoke, the enthusiasm of the nostalgics, the indulgence of the newbies, the nostalgia of the Floydians, the anger of the punk rockers, the spam from Vic Sorriso, the righteous cynicism of the wisest (mopy, chat, bjorky, corey, iside, saputello and more)... LONG LIVE DEBASER! :-)))

A review that's sometimes difficult to understand; nonetheless, the discussion on post-jazz and the comparison with post-rock is interesting. I've only heard of the SHJ; I'll get them soon so I can tell you if I agree with your perspective.

@ Bjorky: here are the reviews you were looking for: "http://www.debaser.it/recensori.asp?IDAnagraficaRecensore=267"..."http://www.debaser.it/recensori.asp?IDAnagraficaRecensore=1017"..."http://www.debaser.it/recensori.asp?IDAnagraficaRecensore=2185"..."http://www.debaser.it/recensori.asp?IDAnagraficaRecensore=377"...Enjoy (??) the reading! ;-D (of course, the one I linked is not the complete works)

Bjorky, don't take it personally for the low scores. They're due to two (petty) reasons: 1) Led Zeppelin is one of those taboo bands, loved or hated, so it's normal (but also not) for their fans to expect a touching review and for their detractors (in the emotional wake provoked by their disdain for the album) to be inclined to lash out at the reviewer as well; 2) one of the most popular hobbies on Debaser is to discourage new reviewers (especially when they're likable and humble like you), just to pass the time ;-))

Wonderful Bjorky! Dazzling debut! I know Camel and Gentle Giant by name... or maybe I listened to them a long time ago... perhaps I'll check them out... Well done again! ;-)

SYL, if you like garage-punk with horror shades, I also recommend the Fleshtones (who don’t really thrill me). They also used that macabre/kitsch organ. ;-)
