In fact, Josi, everything was so nice before (???) when the whole world believed there were only the Beatles... then that drugged-out Lester Bangs came along with his unhealthy ideas about the Trout (bleah!) and after him a whole series of useless and cruel critics like Skaruffi ruined the party for us by making us realize there were other bands besides the Beatles... what jerks!

I remember when I only listened to Queen (a long time ago): I was convinced they had invented everything themselves, glam, metal, disco, punk... then I realized it wasn't necessary to blow up my idols left and right in order to appreciate their music.
