Guys, have mercy, I haven't written on DeB for a couple of years and I didn't know about this new self-managed course (I was used to having everything ready: I used to write without even breaking the lines and then the editors took care of it ahahah)... Anyway, thanks for your comments... I confirm what I think about the clash/fingers comparison... I know it's heresy for many of you and certainly the fingers were inspired by the clash, but at an instinctive level I've always found the Irish way more captivating... Regarding the second AZZ of de-marga: this will be the third or fourth review I've done on a live show at Bloom; honestly, I wouldn't know what else to say about this place, other than that for 25 years they’ve hosted more awesome concerts there, in the middle of the asparagus fields, than in all of Milan and its surroundings! ;-) A shout out to everyone and a warm welcome back to the great Fester, another de-veteran :-D

Minkia, the Of Montreal in the early morning must be quite a trip, a way to steer the day in the right direction! In this album, there are at least 8 or 9 really beautiful tracks... it's not perfect, because towards the end it loses a bit of steam... but the first 3/4 really make an impact... I remember at first saying, "what is this stuff?!"... then I fished them out of the bin, gave them another chance, and listen after listen, they became FIXED in my summer playlist :-) I'm glad you like them, dark...

@proggen: but it’s fragrant mold ;-) @geo: smack!!! :-* @kor: to wake up debaser, we’d need some super-fakes, but the vintage kind :-D anyway, the reviews don’t stay on the home page long enough... maybe someone is even interested in of montreal, but if they don’t log into deb for just one day, they miss the review... now I'm off to spam! ;-D

I don’t know the group, I’ve just heard its name… for me, the '80s garage revival speaks Australian… however, I need to reassess them, considering they come from the same city as the Sonics (so Portland, not Seattle? I didn't know that).

for me the best of Ruggeri is Vitello dai Piedi di Balsa (Reprise), in duet with Elio: "he composed a song......saalsa" :-)
