Van Morrison Veedon Fleece
Voto:
Undoubtedly inferior to the previous "Moondance" (the best?), it is a good album that alternates good musical moments (especially the so-called Celtic ones) with some rather nice folk-jazz insights. "Bulbs" is the standout track of this album; perhaps, if one must find a flaw, at times it comes off as a bit haughty and pompous.

Oh, how boring you are: but why spit on Milan? Okay, there’s no sea, there’s no sun, but in the end, who cares, there’s work, isn’t that enough for you? For 70 years, people have been saying Milan is awful, that it should be thrown away, that it’s worth nothing, that the people are terrible, and then when you’re all desperate and absolutely need to work, guess where you all flee to? Here in Milan, please, a little respect, come on.

Frankly, Sexyajax, I don't see what you have to say against Elio e le Storie Tese, who are one of the best Italian music groups around. Go read some of their reviews and you'll see that I'm not the only one who thinks this way; in fact, maybe you're the isolated case here.

I need to give you two notes, Dexster: they might think I'm crazy, but I don't give a damn, for me this is Mango's best album, brimming with a love for music and beautiful songs that far surpass the current Italian music scene (I mean, is the a cappella version of "Michelle" by the Beatles really better than "Non cado più" by Dj Francesco?), and "La rondine" is as beautiful and inspired as it was back in the days of "Oro"; the review is nice but it's too short and Dexster, honestly, you've written better reviews by the thousands, but this one doesn't convince me. Forgiven?
Porno Riviste Cosa Facciamo?
Voto:
I Porno Riviste started to become trendy a few years after I finished high school, and therefore, I haven't really followed them much; in fact, one could say I'm completely ignorant about this band. Yet, about two years ago, while I was in a Milanese high school for work (don’t worry, I’m neither a teacher nor a janitor), I saw a considerable number of acne-ridden boys (average age 15-16) walking around wearing Porno Riviste t-shirts. I thought: "Look at these kids, they think they're being alternative by wearing a t-shirt referencing a band that started almost 10 years ago?" More than burnt youth, it's already an aged youth...
Vasco Rossi Non Siamo Mica Gli Americani

Isis, what are you doing? You give me a 1 for this and then you come telling me that in the list of the 100 most influential albums in the history of music I should include "Icaro" by Renato Zero? I really don't get it...

Dextser, thank you for the defense and especially for the guy (are you still a kid at 31?).
Jethro Tull Stand Up
Voto:
Of course, opinions can be liked or disliked: certainly, I’m glad that the usual anonymous idiots haven't popped up to comment on this album (perhaps because they don't even know Jethro Tull), and I’m just as happy to say that, first of all, this is a beautiful review, and secondly, this is, in my opinion, the absolute masterpiece of Jethro Tull, with "Aqualung" (let's say rating 4) coming just a tad below.

The problem, dear Killgod#61470, is that you, like many, can’t understand why this record was truly revolutionary back then, because you weren’t there and you don’t know what Italy was like during that time, so your 1 doesn’t mean shit, that’s all.

Killgod is such a pain in the ass: you need to stop talking in generalities, you have to be specific, what do you think of THIS ALBUM, not Vasco in general, assuming you're so ignorant that you blabber on without ever having listened to it (I mean, you're probably just a kid of 17-18 who loves being a pain in the ass talking about things you know nothing about).
