Pretazzo is going into the favorites. The speech on musical relativism really intrigues me… I’ve been doing it alone in my head for years… how nice to read that someone is having the same mental gymnastics :)

In 'Around The Fur', Chino and the guys lean towards a more melodic sound, as seen in "Be Quiet And Drive," track number six of the album. "My Own Summer (Shove It)" and "Around The Fur," which are more oriented towards song structure, are similar to each other: both have powerful and aggressive guitar riffs, and in both, Chino starts calm only to unleash himself in the chorus. "If you didn't say that, I still think we were pretty close here, huh… Ah, for the first time, the term 'nu metal' was used in a live report of Coal Chamber; to be precise, even then there wasn't a marked scene, until the release of 'Follow the Leader' and this little disc. A marked scene = epigones of the sounds/riffs structures of those two mentioned albums. Yes, Headly, I remember exactly how they tried to sell them to us as emocore at that time; the reviews in those shitty little magazines I bought listed the genre as emocore… times have changed, right? :D

rece in the favorites not only because it's beautiful but also for the comments that I will consider great advice when I finally decide to embark on the "tunnel of jazz" :D
