Riccardo, are you calling me a racist? Why? Because I expressed my opinion just like you did? Because I mentioned in my statement, which you call racist, just a harmless ignorance on the subject that can happen? Easy on the adjectives, please; I have never insulted anyone.

The saddest thing, even though everyone has their own opinions, is the revisionist battle against the Beatles that I've noticed lately. This is one of the great flaws of the Italian people, trying to reassess everything and belittle truly important things to highlight trivial phenomena. Now, I don't know the average age of those who write such things, but I truly hope it's very low.
Woody Allen Match Point

A very pessimistic Allen, a very beautiful film that recalls "Crimes and Misdemeanors", the ending is incredibly bitter. The subsequent "Scoop" is instead a decent film; Allen's cinema now suffers greatly from the absence of new actors, especially actresses.

These are not the leftovers of "Chaos.." but those of the awful "Driving Rain". The album is decent and has some interesting elements. What you call an embarrassing song, "Dance Tonight", is actually a pleasant easy-going song. Okay, but as I've already said, try writing it yourselves. "Mr. Bellamy" is a stroke of genius; in just a few minutes, Paul creates a mini-suite that evokes something... if you know the Wings track "Robber's Ball" (an unreleased song from 1980), then you'll immediately recall the grotesque and chaotic atmospheres referenced in "Mr. Bellamy". "Vintage Clothes" and "Only Mama Knows," as well as the last track, have come straight from the Wings sound of 1979. McCartney often invokes the sound of his band in this album, which recorded some very beautiful moments, and if you expect Paul to always deliver "Sgt Pepper," you haven't grasped much of his approach to making music.

The packaging is curious; the lyrics are not fully included (the one for "End Of The End" is even written on the edges of the CD), and then the corners on the right side of all the pages fold over to create unique overlays.

From the first listen: "Ever Present Past": hundreds of artists dream of a song like this, this is a small example of the immense musical potential of this man. "Dance Tonight": easy? Try writing it yourselves.
Dire Straits Communiqué

"Brothers In Arms" complex? Well, in my opinion, their first two LPs are enigmatic, with a soul of their own, a profound mirror of the urban poet Mark Knopfler. "Brothers In Arms" is commercial and calculated, and then the true "Dire Straits" culminate with the splendid "Love Over Gold."

So, it comes out on June 5th and it has already been reviewed twice on this site. You downloaded it, ok, the thing is serious for many reasons and those who love music respect artists and try to buy their records; if a download happens once in a while, fine. But to review something that hasn't even been released is really foolish.

I've noticed recently that the ending where he runs to Tracy reminds me too much of another great ending, that of "Breakfast at Tiffany's," where Holly runs desperately in the rain towards "Cat" and Paul... chilling!
