I wouldn't describe the Buggles as meteors considering what they later went on to do, Yes, Asia, productions. And they are more of the '70s than the '80s.

This work is 19 years old, but like any self-respecting piece of art, it has no age. Unfortunately for Alice, there are no new record releases in sight; the 5 years of silence are destined to last even longer.

In Genoa, my father told me, they had a concert, I believe in '80 or '81....they were booed in a humiliating way. A group of clowns, ridiculous sideshow acts with no substance.
Paul McCartney And Wings Live And Let Die
Voto:
No, not the masterpiece of McCartney as a solo artist, at least not the only one. Here Paul creates a mini symphony of just over three minutes, an extraordinary piece that has entered the history of rock. The real masterpiece Paul conceived and left in the drawer for over 30 years. The soundtrack of "Rupert The Bear," even though sketched, boasts sublime musical moments.
Peter Gabriel Peter Gabriel III

Collins' idea of removing the plates from the drum kit is phenomenal...for me, Gabriel ends here; the rest never reaches these levels, rather it becomes increasingly scattered and weak.
Jethro Tull Too Old To Rock 'n Roll; Too Young To Die

For me, it's bland...
Jethro Tull Thick As A Brick
Voto:
Oh my God... it's not a masterpiece for me; the first part is catchy and ear-catching, but the second drags on a bit. Perhaps it's more known to the general public for the cover; a friend of mine printed the cover on a shirt...
Jethro Tull Broadsword And The Beast

Discrete... I prefer "A". There’s a lot of style here, but it’s a work somewhat stifled by the era, not so much the electronics as the attempt to recreate the '70s in the '80s.
Talking Heads Naked

An incredible kaleidoscope...but very distracting, and the many musicians make the work too chaotic...has anyone noticed that the latest song by Elio e Le Storie Tese, "Ignudi Fra i Nudisti," has some references to "Nothing But Flowers"? Or is it just my impression...
