Genesis The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway

Sunset of what? "A Trick Of The Tail" and "Wind And Wuthering" are two beautiful albums, I can’t stand these cheap judgments anymore. Gabriel in Genesis was one element among many; what really drove everything was Tony Banks. So, the Genesis became the Genesis when he too, after 1980, started to lean towards the easier stuff.

No, this is the best since "Duke." Maybe there are a few tracks too many, but overall it's a great work. And excuse me, but does it make sense to talk about ERA GABRIEL, ERA COLLINS, and ERA WILSON? It makes no sense! This is a band that has always offered something unique in their works; hell, in "Abacab" there are the title track, "Me And Sarah Jane," and "Dodo," which are beautiful. In "Genesis," there's "Mama" (a track others can only dream of, like Yes). The only album to discard is "Invisible Touch," but that was a product of dreadful times. I believe all their material up until 1980 is of excellent quality. The conversation changes for the rest of the decade, but still talking about comparisons between Gabriel and Collins while knowing that all of Genesis contributed to their music is simply ridiculous today.

"Miss Baker" is also missing!

Well, in my opinion, it is far superior to the contemporary junk from ELP (Love Beach) and especially to my dear friends Yes with "Tormato," but it is inferior to the work of Genesis. It's an album that you appreciate and flows quickly, and that works in its favor.

It's a shame that with the end of Prog begins one of the greatest periods of musical creativity, the New Wave. The electronic degeneration is something else entirely, and discussing infection is really nonsense since the use of electronics became abundant with prog.

For heaven's sake!
Mike Oldfield Platinum
Voto:
Absolutely not, it has nothing in common with "Crises" and "Discovery"; let's say it has some points of contact with "QE2" in the songs, raw but definitely less industrial than the later ones.
Bonnie Tyler Faster Than The Speed Of Night

I remember her with Oldfield for "Islands," nothing sensational.
