James Horner Titanic
Voto:
Cameron had always wanted to make a film about the "Titanic"; he needed a story to include so that people would go see the movie (since it cost a lot and the producers would have destroyed it in case of a flop). He succeeded, creating an astounding reconstruction of the sinking—let's say it's a great documentary, this it is. The soundtrack is decent.

Since when, dear Ghemison, has there been music for women and music for men?
Jackson Browne Running On Empty
Voto:
Browne is not Californian......he is German, American from Germany, the son of military personnel.
Simon & Garfunkel Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M.
Voto:
"Wednesday Morning, 3 AM" is a small portrait of life rendered beautifully, the time that stops, the decision to escape from one's past (murder?) leaving behind one's girlfriend still in the sleep of the early morning hours. Stunning.
Faces Maybe I'm Amazed

The most beautiful song by Paul dedicated to Linda.
Bernardo Lanzetti Gente Nervosa
Voto:
It’s a device created by Lanzetti; it’s nothing more than a distortion effect or something like that that amplifies sound directly from the larynx. I saw it live two years ago, and that glove is something phenomenal; it can produce very strange and curious sounds.
Genesis Platinum Collection
Voto:
No, buy "Genesis," "We Can't Dance," and even "Invisible Touch"; one must think and critique with their own mind.
Genesis Genesis
Voto:
The title "Genesis" signifies, according to the band, a new beginning, practically the second part of the decade in which they will ride the pop-synthetic wave. Returning to the album, it’s important to highlight how some songs, particularly on the first side, are totally different from what they expressed in "Abacab," and what impresses me the most is that they are compositions superior to those of Yes in "90125." Essentially, "Mama" is certainly more complex and sophisticated than "Owner Of A Lonely Heart." What infuriates me the most is the casualness with which they created the rest; the creative vein was there, but they deliberately set it aside by recording without any clear idea. In the end, they didn’t put in the effort, and here’s the result.
Genesis Genesis

But haste gave us a good side A and a terrible side B; not everything is to be thrown away, but tracks like "Taking It All Too Hard" and "Silver Raimbow" deserved much better arrangements.
Genesis Invisible Touch
Voto:
Horrible, nothing else. As for the unreleased tracks, it's worth noting that Genesis have made many mistakes in this decade when compiling their LP tracklists. I'm referring especially to "Abacab": remove "Keep It Dark," "Another Record," and "Who Dunnit?" and add "Me And Virgil," "You Might Recall," "Naminanu," and "Submarine," and surprise, the album suddenly becomes substantial and much more cohesive, a completely different thing compared to the original.
