Dear Antonio, I just tried to give an idea of what this album is by creating, in the reader's mind, through references to the hypothetical existence of a related side project of characters whose music is widely known, a tension and an interest that would culminate in a vivid image of what I believe this album (and the music of Jade Warrior) is. In short, I invented an imaginary album (see Borges) that I coincidentally aligned with an existing one. I wanted that only at the end would the reader exclaim: damn, does this album and this kind of music really exist?? But I guess I wasn't understood. As for the reference to Mercury Rev, I introduced it into the story because the music of Yerself Is Steam (do you know it?) reminds me quite a bit in some parts (see the mentioned tracks) of the atmospheres of Jade Warrior.
