You can't judge them based on a compilation. Just listen to "the white album," it's much better... "Scant influence on artists of the subsequent decades" is a joke?? The fact that they made some silly songs (especially in their early period) is evident, but not recognizing the immense value of titles like Helter Skelter, The Long and Winding Road, Yesterday, Eleanor Rigby, Something, etc. is ridiculous...
