Grave Digger Tunes Of Wacken
Voto:
I have to confess, Grave Digger has always annoyed the hell out of me... I've even seen them live and I couldn't tell when they changed songs... I mean, do you really like them or do you just praise them for their perseverance and work ethic? Have they ever written a truly memorable track? This isn't a rhetorical question; I'm asking because I'm curious to hear it and to reassess the (pre) judgment.
Carmen Consoli Eva Contro Eva
Voto:
The usual villains, Carmen will probably show off a bit, act like a very intellectual girl, but she's got some talent... I haven't listened to the latest one, but I've heard all her others, and I must say that when she doesn't get lost in long words, she knows how to come up with some good tracks. Personally, I think she's been on a downward trend for a while now. Maybe if she had let her (undeniable) inspiration work in a more spontaneous and less contrived way, without the need to appear sophisticated and forcefully elevate herself to the status of a diva, she would have produced that masterpiece that has never materialized and perhaps never will.
Helloween Better Than Raw

Very exhaustive review, maybe too much! So you're saying to try this better than raw? With Deris I only "shat" master of the ring and in the end I didn’t mind it too much. A couple of notes: you write "with a very calm Chorus and a chorus that gets stuck in your head right away." Well, chorus and ritornello mean the same thing! Chorus means ritornello in English, maybe you meant choir? Then you should have said choir! And then Markus Grosskopf one of the best bassists in the genre? No way! He’ll write some pretty melodic and catchy lines, but for the rest he’s a bit of a shoe for me! Anyway, good job! Bye

Motörhead Bastards

Damn, I had it and then I lost it! Is it impossible to find now? But who’s looking for it? I only remember Born to Raise Hell and about ten of its substitutes.
DragonForce Sonic Firestorm

Damn, the first track is a total banger, the second one a bit less so, and it goes on like that until the last track, which you approach with your balls a bit full. Anyway, the guys have a certain style, and it's nice that there are those who appreciate them even though they play power metal and have fantasy lyrics (two elements that often lead to prejudice from so-called "industry experts").

Neffa, nowadays, kind of gets on my nerves, but I won't slam him because my friend and former schoolmate Cesarone (he still plays with him)! A blues guitarist-bassist-drummer that can drive you crazy!

Judas Priest Unleashed In The East

In fact, the Saxon genitive on a term that ends with an 's' contracts to an apostrophe, so it would be Judas' Priest... anyway, I think it’s a kind of adjectivation of the noun (I'm just throwing ideas out there). For example, Girl Power translates to il Potere della Ragazza, even though it isn’t written as Girl's Power. I mean, Girl Power means the Power of the Girl more generally, in the sense of all the girls, while Girl's Power sounds more like the Power of (but really of that specific) Girl. Well, I'm getting myself tangled up...
