Dear Odradek and Dune, I am not an expert on Demis Roussos, and I believe his mother isn't either with all the records this man has released and re-released in various forms. This title, for example, "Goodbye my love goodbye," bears the name of more than a dozen Roussosian records, ranging from the original 70s version to various reissues, best of collections, etc. The review was simply meant to evoke certain flavors that the upcoming summer brings to me, and that this man, with his music—often kitsch—faithfully recalls. I would say that good old Demis had intuition, taste, and the voice of a great artist, but he often sold himself short.

Is Renga not free to change as he pleases? Or must you decide for him like new Boncompagni? I loved Timoria, but they no longer exist... it's pointless to annoy Renga... if he sings like this today, it's not just about money, because the Renga of Timoria wouldn't have done it anyway... unless the Renga we imagined to be "true" never existed, not even in the time of Timoria...
