The idyll of salt and muscles, strength and sweat now pervaded the sunny and wandering days spent in desolate lands. And the sun rose and set continuously, and only the breeze mitigated the insistent warmth of the ancient sea.

Arcadian walks in search of the idyll, every night lying under a sky of stars, under a blanket of dreams, but the dream, even wearing its different masks, always conceals only one desire, to find what one is searching for..
Now with weary legs, weary hands, and weary eyes, we could no longer hold the course and not even the wandering, not even the sand that the blond southern wind carried to our eyes could shake us anymore, and the afternoons immersed in the Mediterranean scrub and tamarisks made us savory like ancient pilgrims now ready for the spit. But one night in lost time, only the silence of enchantment remained to keep us company.

The morning came full of mist and in the trials of hunger we found ourselves dispersed at sea on a raft of wood, and sounds of sirtaki accompanying us, folk dances of the lost lands, now distant on the horizon. Sweet fruits and crunchy grapes to gorge on restored our incredulous souls now sailed, and it no longer made sense to ask if we were old or young, constrained or free in those clothes and those roles, it made no sense to do so there, before the benevolent Mediterranean. Mediterranean, like the disappointments soaked in salty water, like thoughts that evaporate slowly, like us, now transcended our limbs, nothing more than water and sand in the presence of the sea. One day from the same waters emerged a golden traveler with ichthyic shapes full of herbs and marine stones, and after getting stranded in the sun with us, after days of total minerality, he addressed me in an abyssal tone asking..

"Why didn't you bring your feelings with you at the advent of your wandering?"
And I, like snow answered to the sun, replied to him saying..
"I tried to put my feelings in a small box to carry them with me, but they had no boundary and it was difficult, so I preferred to scatter them in the waters of the sea…"

...while all this happened the sweet harmonies of Demis Roussos played gently and almost evanescent like a faint breeze.

Hear the wind sings a sad old song
it knows I'm leaving you today
please don't cry oh my heart will break
when I'll go on my way

Goodbye my love goodbye
goodbye and au revoir
as long as you remember me
I'll never be too far

Goodbye my love goodbye
I always will be true
so hold me in your dreams til I
come back to you

See the stars in the skies above
they'll shine wherever I may roam
I will pray every lonely night
that soon they'll guide me home

Goodbye my love goodbye
goodbye and au revoir
as long as you remember me
I'll never be too far

Goodbye my love goodbye
