Paolo Conte Appunti di viaggio
Voto:
Perhaps the album I appreciate the most by Conte, I know I'm a bit out of step, but I've always championed this album over other peaks of the Avvocato; every song perfectly matches my taste. A record of geographical daydreams... splendid! And the review does it justice.

Dear Paolo, in my opinion, the review for an album like this (a nice album) is really too brief; to read about the tracks and the musicians, it would have sufficed to pick up the album. You didn't offer anything more for those who aren't familiar with De Gregori and the album... forgive my candor.

Enough! You're annoying! Nicky may be young and will have time to bounce back...

The repetitiveness of the album can only be intentional; it’s always the same chords that are echoed not-so-subtly, and the lyrics follow this thread. It’s a concept grounded in the province... and a soundtrack... The album was born and wanted in this way; from his pedestal, Neil took this liberty. I also remember he has demonstrated (as always in this type of album) that the fertile compositional vein is at work and is only hidden, surfacing in tracks like Bandit... The last point I want to bring to the table is the fact that Neil had to compensate for the heavy absence of Sampedro on guitars, and perhaps that's why the album feels a bit flat...

exaggerated!
the album is a modest one considering the names it carries, which should represent two important figures in our music scene, but all in all it's the best album by audio 2...
the review is once again well-written, but definitely useless because it's way too too too short...

beautiful review, the word honors the work and this is the ultimate result for the Scribe. As for the album, it's a good album, but better, more intense, and less fairytale-like works will come later; Tea for the Tillerman, for example, is, in my opinion, still a bit sweetened... anyway, very good.

The review closely resembles the album; you used words that suited Max's persona. I agree that the same light and sparkling line has become somewhat dull lately, but perhaps it's just an impression.
