So, TELEGRAPH ROAD is beautiful, melancholic yet joyful (contrasting emotions that only the DS can evoke!). Private Investigation is a psychedelic and touching journey, an "immersion into one’s soul"... Mark's voice, almost spoken and so detached, is perfect and mystical, dreamy. Industrial Disease kicks off at full speed, and from the very first beat, you can tell it’s going to be an incredible piece full of rhythm and guitar... The same goes for IT NEVER RAINS while LOVE OVER GOLD is moving, and the first piano notes accompanied by the slow, deep guitar are magnificent... I bought this work on vinyl too, but not having the player, I haven't been able to listen to it yet...
It's impossible not to vote for this masterpiece by Dire... Forgive me, I'm incorrigible!
